New Daily Grind Mode: Fortune Grind!

But that’s not all: Nintendo Switch, Apple Arcade, and Epic versions of Grindstone all have an exciting update: a new Daily Grind, the Fortune Grind, mode has opened up in HjellHjole. In Fortune Grind, you’ll have one level to complete, but the exact number of environmental hazards and ferocious enemies you have to contend against is decided by each spin of a giant wheel blocking the exit.

Want a refresh or an intro to all available Daily Grind modes? We got you covered. Pop on over to our Daily Grind Explainer.

Or if you’re curious about the process of developing Daily Grind, across programming, design, art, and narrative, then check out our Daily Grind Dev Diary.

Ready to see if fortune really does favor the bold? Grab Grindstone now on Apple Arcade, Nintendo Switch™ and Epic Game Store!

P.S. from Fortune Grind’s host, Jjertrude

Hank Hudson here, with a special report from Jjertrude from Grindstone Mountain.

All of you stonegrinders have proven you’re not actually the worst. So that prompted me to open up the Fortune Grind shrjine, where now you’ll be the one in charge … kinda. There’s a giant wheel now, so hit that as hard as you can, and deal with the consequences of your decisions! It’s fun! You’ll still want to sacrifice the highest amount of grindstones, and things like Jerk guts really help gild the lily, so to speak. Just be prepared for lots of Jerkameleons. That’s not a euphemism. Good luck, stonegrinder. If you fail, you only have yourself to blame!

I think Jjertrude is lonely … or watching too many Saw movies.
